# Add your own product values in Vestis Atlas

> Add, rename and remove your own categories, colour names and other values, and manage the interpretive product insight groups Atlas uses.

**Product values** lets you add your own wording to the lists Atlas picks from. Every field starts with a standard set of fashion industry values. Add your own category, product type, colour name or anything else your range needs. Once added, you can pick it wherever that field appears, and Atlas recognises it when reading your products.

## Add a value to a field

1. **Choose a field**
   In the **Product fields** list on the left, select the field you want to extend.

   

2. **Enter the value**
   In the field at the top, type the new value. The placeholder names the field, for example **Add a colour value**.

   

3. **Click "Add"**
   Click **Add**. The value appears under **Your custom values**.

   

With nothing added yet, the list reads **No custom values yet** for that field.

## Rename or remove a value

1. **Rename**
   Click the **Rename** pencil on a value, change the text and click the tick to save it.

   

2. **Remove**
   Click the bin on a value (**Remove**). The button changes to **Confirm**. Click it again to remove the value.

   

A value tagged **added while reviewing** was added by you from a product review, not from this page.

## Browse the standard values

Under **Standard values** you can search the built-in list in the search box, which shows how many values it holds. These values are **read-only**: you can add to the list but not change the standard ones. When nothing matches, Atlas shows **No matches.**

## Product insights

Below the product values, **Product insights** manages the interpretive tags Atlas reasons about a product, such as the occasions it suits and its mood or aesthetic. They are never presented as facts about the product. The groups are **Occasion**, **Style / aesthetic**, **Seasonal vibe**, **Mood** and **Trend**.

- For **Occasion**, **Style / aesthetic** and **Seasonal vibe**, Atlas only uses values from the group's list. Anything else is discarded, so your own words have to be added here to ever appear.
- For **Mood** and **Trend**, Atlas can suggest new words on its own. Adding yours makes them more likely.

1. **Add a value to a group**
   Select a group, enter a word under **Add a value to this group** (for example "gallery opening") and add it. Remove a value with the x next to it.

   

2. **Create your own group**
   Click **New group**, enter a **Group name** and describe **What belongs in this group** so Atlas can decide what fits, then click **Create**.

   

3. **Edit or delete a group**
   On a group you created, click **Edit** to rename it or change its description, then **Save**. Click **Delete**, then **Delete group and its values** to remove it.

> Deleting a group also deletes every value in it.
