# Approve, publish and manage a product in Vestis Atlas

> Open a product in Vestis Atlas, approve it, publish its copy to your store or Vestis Platform, reopen it for editing, retry a failed read or delete it.

Each product in Vestis Atlas has its own page. It is where you review what Atlas read, approve the product, publish the result and manage the product afterwards.

**Where to find it:** Products → (product name)

## Read the product header

The top of the page shows the product title, its SKU, a status, how ready it is as a percentage, and a one-line summary of what to do next. Click a photo thumbnail to see that photo larger. If there are no photos the header shows **No photos yet**.

| Status | What you see | What to do |
| --- | --- | --- |
| **Uploading** or **Enriching** | **Uploading images** or **Running AI enrichment**. The page updates on its own. | Wait. |
| **Enriched** or **Needs review** | **Review and approve** link in the header. | Review the product, then approve it. See [Add and enrich a product in Vestis Atlas](https://docs.vestislabs.com/atlas/add-and-enrich-a-product-in-vestis-atlas/). |
| **Approved** | **Publish** and **Copy and FAQs** links in the header. | Publish, or open the copy and FAQs. |
| **Failed** | **Enrichment failed** with the reason. | Click **Retry**. The button is shown only when the product has photos. |

If the product cannot be found, Atlas shows **Product not found**.

## Approve a product

1. **Open the product**
   On the **Products** page, click the product name. Products waiting for you show **Needs review**.

   

2. **Review and save**
   Under **Review identity** and **Review attributes**, correct what is wrong. Use **Next flagged** (or the **j** and **k** keys) to jump between flagged items. Click **Save changes** when you are done.

   

3. **Click "Approve"**
   Click **Approve**. If you have unsaved edits Atlas reminds you with **Save your changes before approving.**

   

Once approved, the page switches to four tabs. See the next section.

## Use the product tabs

An approved product has these tabs under **Product sections**:

- **Details** shows the product facts with a numbered source for each one, and a **Before you approve** help panel with anything that still needs a look. Each row shows where it came from, and **Check this** marks a fact Atlas is not sure about.
- **What Atlas read** lists the **Attributes** Atlas extracted, each with a confidence badge and **Flagged** when it needs a look, followed by the AI-inferred tags.
- **Copy & FAQs** shows the generated copy and your FAQs. See [Add FAQs to a product in Vestis Atlas](https://docs.vestislabs.com/atlas/add-faqs-to-a-product-in-vestis-atlas/).
- **Publish** has the product data for AI and the steps to put it on your website. See [Copy Atlas style JSONL into Shopify](https://docs.vestislabs.com/atlas/copy-atlas-style-jsonl-into-shopify/).
- **AI visibility** shows how often AI assistants mention this product. It appears only when AI visibility is switched on for your workspace.

## Publish an approved product

Publishing works differently depending on where the product came from.

1. **Open an approved product**
   Look at the card under the header.

   

2. **Publish to the connected store**
   For a product from a store you connected, the card reads **Publish to connected store**. Click **Publish**. Atlas shows how many fields it published, or **Nothing new to publish.**

   

3. **Or check the Vestis Platform hand-off**
   For a product from Vestis Platform, the card reads **Goes to Vestis Platform on approval**, then **Sent to Vestis Platform** once delivered. The copy goes to Platform as a draft and nothing is published from Atlas. If it did not arrive, click **Send to Platform**. On the **Publish** tab, **Product data for AI** has **View JSON** to open the data in a new tab and **Copy embed** to copy it. **Show the raw data** expands the full data.

### Claims that block publishing

- **Some claims were left out** means no valid certificate backs a claim in your copy, so it is left out of what is published. Attach a certificate or reword the copy, then generate it again.
- **Sustainability claims** with **Blocks publish** means the copy makes an environmental claim no certificate on file substantiates. Edit the copy or attach a certificate, or click **Accept & allow publish** if you can stand behind the claim. Claims that are too generic, such as "sustainable", cannot be accepted: reword or remove them.

## Reopen an approved product

1. **Click "Reopen for editing"**
   On an approved product, click **Reopen for editing** under the header.

   

2. **Confirm**
   In **Reopen this product for editing?**, click **Reopen for editing**. The product returns to **Needs review**. Correct its fields, then approve it again.

   

> [!NOTE]
> Content already sent to Vestis Platform stays where it is, and a live product page only changes when you approve again.

## Delete a product

1. **Click "Delete"**
   Click **Delete** under the header.

   

2. **Confirm**
   In **Delete this product?**, read what will be removed, then click **Delete product**. Click **Cancel** to keep it.

   

> [!WARNING]
> Deleting permanently removes the product, its images, its links to your store and to Vestis Platform, and the training data saved when you approved it. It cannot be undone. Your visibility tracking history and AI cost records are kept but no longer linked to a product.

> [!WARNING]
> If the copy was already sent to Vestis Platform, deleting the product here does not delete the draft Platform received. Resolve or discard it in the Platform's review inbox.
