# Style Shopify integration tab

> Link a style to a Shopify product, then sync variants, inventory, product details, metafields and images, or unlink the style.

The **Shopify** tab shows whether a style is linked to a Shopify product. When it is not linked, you create or link a product. When it is linked, you compare Vestis Labs with Shopify and push the differences.

**Where to find it:** Collection & Styles → Styles → (select a style) → Integrations → Shopify

**Requires:** permission `UPDATE_PRODUCT,VIEW_STYLE`

## Before you start

- Shopify must be connected for the brand. Otherwise the tab shows **Shopify is not connected for this brand.** with a **Set up the integration** link, and the connect buttons are disabled.
- Fill in the style fields that sync to Shopify first, see [Style sync configuration](https://docs.vestislabs.com/collection-style/style-sync-configuration/).

## Connect a style that is not linked

The status shows **Not connected**: **This style has no linked Shopify product.** Under **Connect to Shopify** there are two options.

### Create a new product

1. **Click "Create Shopify Product"**
   Under **Create New Product**, click **Create Shopify Product**.

2. **Choose how to create it**
   In the **Create Shopify Product** dialog, select **Create with Digital ID inventory** (uses batch production inventory as Shopify stock) or **Style information only** (creates the product without stock; you can connect inventory later).

3. **Click "Create Product"**
   Click **Create Product**. With **Create with Digital ID inventory**, the **Set Up Inventory** dialog then asks for a quantity per active colour. Enter the quantities and click **Create & Import**.

### Link an existing product

1. **Click "Select from Shopify"**
   Under **Link Existing Product**, click **Select from Shopify**.

2. **Select the product**
   In **Link Existing Shopify Product**, search with **Search products...** and select the product. If nothing matches you see **No products found.**

3. **Click "Link Product"**
   Click **Link Product** to connect the style.

## Manage a linked style

The status shows **Connected** with the Shopify product title and ID. Buttons:

- **Sync Inventory**: pushes inventory to Shopify. It is disabled until the variants are synced. A line shows **Inventory synced** or **Inventory not synced**.
- **View on Shopify**: opens the product in your Shopify admin.

Below the status, the page compares Vestis Labs with Shopify:

- **Size Variants**: if the style now has a size range but the Shopify product still has colour-only variants, **This product predates sizing** appears. Click the enable button and confirm **Enable size variants?** to add a Size option.
- **Product Variants**: colours that are not yet synced are listed. Click **Sync N Variant(s)** and confirm **Sync missing variants?**.
- **Shopify-Only Variants**: variants that exist in Shopify but have no matching colour. **Delete** removes them from the Shopify product after you confirm **Delete Shopify variant?**.
- **Product Details** (**Name**, **Description**, **Price**, **Supplier**, **Category**), **SKU & Barcode**, **Metafields**, **Style Images** and **Variant Images**: each shows the **Vestis Labs** and **Shopify** values side by side. Rows that differ are highlighted and get a **Push** button. For a variant image the button reads **Remove** when Vestis Labs has no picture.

> [!NOTE]
> If several barcode templates exist, a **Multiple Barcode Templates** dialog asks which one to use. The default is marked **Default**.

## Unlink a style

In the **Danger Zone**, click **Unlink** and confirm **Unlink from Shopify?**. The connection is removed; the Shopify product itself is not deleted.

> [!WARNING]
> Deleting a Shopify-only variant removes it permanently from your Shopify product.

## Connect many styles at once

From the Style Dashboard, select styles and use **Actions → Connect to Shopify**. Styles that are already connected are skipped. See [Style dashboard](https://docs.vestislabs.com/collection-style/style-dashboard/).
