# Authorise an app to access your account

> Approve or deny a third-party app that asks for access to your brand data, and choose which brand it can use.

When an external app wants to connect to your Vestis Labs account, it sends you to an **OAuth Authorization** page. There you decide whether to let it in and for which brand.

## Approve or deny an app

1. **Check the app**
   The page title reads **Authorize** followed by the app's name, with **This app is requesting access to your account.**

   

2. **Review the requested permissions**
   Under **Requested permissions**, read what the app asks for: **Read your data** and/or **Write to your data**.

3. **Select the brand**
   In **Select brand**, choose the brand the app may use. The first brand in your list is selected by default.

   

4. **Click "Approve" or "Deny"**
   Click **Approve** to grant access; the button reads **Authorizing...** while it works and you are sent back to the app. Click **Deny** to refuse; the app is told that access was denied.

> **Approve** stays unavailable until a brand is selected. If authorisation fails, a message appears below the brand list.
