# Verify your Shopify store by email

> Request the one-time code by email when linking a Shopify store, then enter it in Vestis Labs to finish the connection.

To link a Shopify store, Vestis Labs checks that you own it with a short one-time code sent to your email. This page covers the email request and where to enter the code.

## Request the code

1. **Open the verification link**
   Use the verification link provided for your Shopify store. It carries the store identifier the request needs.

2. **Enter your email**
   Type your email address in the **Email** field.

   

3. **Click "Send OTP Email"**
   Click **Send OTP Email**. A message confirms **Email has been sent successfully**.

The next page reads **Email Verification Sent!** and tells you to check your email and enter the code in the Shopify integration menu of the app. Click **Login to App** to continue.

## Enter the code in Vestis Labs

**Requires:** permission `UPDATE_SHOPIFY_INTEGRATION`

**Where to find it:** Settings → Integrations → Shopify

1. **Find the connection card**
   On the **Shopify** page, the **Connect your Shopify store** card lists the steps. Step 3 is **Enter the code to link**.

   

2. **Enter the 5-character code**
   Type the code you received. It is five characters long and may contain letters and numbers.

3. **Click "Link Token"**
   Click **Link Token**. A **Token has been set** message confirms the link.
