> Update your name and photo, change your password and review your current session and recent sign-ins on the Profile page.

The **Profile** page is where you manage your own account: how your name and photo appear, your password, and where you are signed in. It is available to every signed-in user.

**Where to find it:** Account menu (top right) → Profile

You can also reach it from **Settings → User Profile** in the left sidebar. The page title reads **User Profile**.

## Update your name and photo

1. **Open your profile**
Click your photo or initials at the top right, then click **Profile**.

2. **Change your name**
In **Profile Information**, type your name in the **Name** field. It must be at least 3 characters, otherwise the page shows *Name must be at least 3 characters*.

3. **Change your photo**
Click your photo or the camera icon, labelled **Change profile picture**, and select an image. Photos can be JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 3 MB. A larger file is rejected with a warning before it is previewed.

4. **Click "Save Changes"**
Click **Save Changes**. The button reads **Saving...** while it works, and you see *Profile updated successfully*.

Your **Email** and **Role** are shown on the card but cannot be edited here.

## Change your password

In the **Security** section, the **Change Password** card lets you update your password.

1. **Enter your current password**
   Type it in **Current Password**.

2. **Enter the new password**
Type it in **New Password**, then repeat it in **Confirm Password**. Click the eye icon at the end of each field to show or hide what you typed.

   > [!NOTE]
   > Each field needs at least 6 characters (*Password must be at least 6 characters*), and the two new passwords must match (*Passwords don't match*).

3. **Click "Update Password"**
Click **Update Password**. When it works you see *Password changed successfully* and the fields are cleared. If it fails, the message explains why, with *Failed to change password* as the fallback.

If you have forgotten your password, use [Forgot password](https://docs.vestislabs.com/getting-started/forgot-password/) on the sign-in page instead.

## Review your sign-ins

Below **Change Password**, two cards show where your account is signed in. They are read-only.

- **Current Session**: the browser and device you are signed in from right now, marked **This device**, with how you signed in, how long ago and the country when it is known. Before sign-ins are recorded, it shows *Sign in tracked starting after your next login.*
- **Recent sign-ins**: your last 10 sign-ins across devices, in a table with the columns **When**, **Method**, **Device** and **Status**. Hover **When** to see the exact date and time. It shows *No sign-ins recorded yet.* when there are none.

The **Method** column shows how each sign-in was made, for example **Password**, **Google** or **Invitation**.

The **Status** column shows **Active** for a live session. A finished session shows why it ended: **Signed in elsewhere**, **Logged out**, **Expired** or **Admin ended**.

> [!TIP]
> If you see a sign-in you do not recognise, change your password straight away.
