# Shopify integration overview

> Understand what the Shopify integration does and which guides to read, in which order, to connect your store, sync styles and stock, and show the Product Journey.

The **Shopify** integration links your Vestis brand to your Shopify store. Once linked, a style can be sent to Shopify as a product, its production batches feed the Shopify stock, and the Product Journey can be shown on your product pages.

**Where to find it:** Settings → Integrations → Shopify

**Requires:** permission `UPDATE_SHOPIFY_INTEGRATION`

> The **Integrations** item in **Settings** and the **Shopify** tile on the **Integrations** page only show when Shopify is switched on for your brand. Ask your Vestis contact if you do not see them.

## What the integration does

- **Connects the brand to one Shopify store.** You install the Vestis Labs app in Shopify, then enter the 5-character code it gives you in Vestis.
- **Sends styles as Shopify products.** For each style you can create a new Shopify product or link a product that already exists in your store.
- **Keeps stock in step.** Shopify stock comes from the **Additional for Shopify** quantities of the production batches of the style.
- **Shows differences.** On the style, each synced field is compared side by side and you can **Push** the Vestis value to Shopify.
- **Shows Product Journey.** You paste a code snippet into your Shopify theme once, and every product that is linked to a Vestis style shows the journey.

### 1. Connect your store

Do this once per brand.

You only need one of the two for the connection. Pick the one that matches where you start.

### 2. Send a style to Shopify

Do this for each style.

Use one of the two. Both end with a **Custom Liquid** section in your Shopify theme.

## Disconnect Shopify

On the **Shopify Integration** page, the **Danger Zone** has a **Disconnect Shopify** action. It removes the Vestis-to-Shopify product connections, clears the image and tag associations and uninstalls the Vestis Labs app from your store. Your Shopify products are not deleted, and you can reconnect at any time by installing the app again.
