This guide covers the end-to-end process of creating, updating, and managing your size inventory within the platform. ## Introduction & best practice Size ranges in Vestis Labs serve as the foundation for assigning sizes to your styles and building complete size charts. By defining size ranges—such as XS–XL, 0–14, or other custom sets—you create the structure that determines which sizes can be applied to each style and how measurements will be organised during specification development. **Where to find it:** Settings → Size Range **Requires:** permission `UPDATE_BRAND,VIEW_STYLE` ## Step-by-step guide ## Create new size range Navigate to **Settings** \> **Size Range**. ![Navigate to Settings Size Range.](https://docs.vestislabs.com/assets/settings/assets/size-range-setting/01-navigate-to-settings-size-range.webp) - Click '**New**' to create a size range - a Size Range Page will show up. The **New** button needs the create style permission. If no size range is marked as default, the list shows "No default size range selected. Turn on Default for a size range to apply it automatically to all styles. This can still be changed later per style." ![Navigate to Settings Size Range.](https://docs.vestislabs.com/assets/settings/assets/size-range-setting/02-navigate-to-settings-size-range.webp) Complete the basic information below: - **Name** - mandatory ("Name is required"), for example Adult Clothing, Kids Shoes or EU Sizes. - **Sizes** - type each size in its own row, for example XS, S, M. Click **Add Size** for another row and drag a row by its handle to reorder. This size range will be used by default. Only one size range can be the default, or you can leave none selected. > [!NOTE] > Only one size range can be the default. A category can only map to one size range — assigning a category here replaces any existing mapping; a category that is on another size range shows "Currently on [name] — will reassign". - Choose categories from the dropdown.
