Step 2 of 10 in See the business view: reports, pricing and margin
Add a widget to your board
Open the widget gallery on Reports and Insights, find a report by area or name, and add it to your board.
Under review. This page is published while we check it against the live app, so some details may have changed.
The widget gallery lists every report you can put on your Reports and Insights board. Each card shows a preview of the report, what it counts and the size it will have when added.
Reports and Insights
Permission: VIEW_STYLE
Note
The gallery only offers reports you have permission to read. A report needs at least one of its permissions, listed in the Reports widget catalogue.
Click "Add widget"
Click the Add widget button at the top right of the board. While you are customising the layout, the same button is in the bar at the top of the page.
Narrow the list
In the Add a widget panel, type in Search reports… to match a report name, description or area, or click one of the area chips: All, Collections & Styles, Prices, Costs & Margins, Sampling or Production.
Tip
The panel header shows how many reports are available and across how many areas. Only areas that contain a report you can read appear as chips.
Review the card
Each card shows the report name, a one-line description, a preview, the default visualisation (for example Number or Bar chart), the default size and, when there is more than one, how many other views the report offers.
Click "Add"
Click Add on the report you want. The panel closes and the widget appears at the bottom of the board, below the widgets already there.
You should now see the new widget on your board. You do not need to switch on Customise first: adding is saved straight away. If nothing matches your search, the panel shows No reports match followed by your search text.
Tip
You can add the same report more than once and give each copy a different filter, for example one per season. See Customise a widget.
