This article outlines best practices for setting up and using dimension settings in Vestis Labs to support accurate measurement management and consistent specification standards across your product development process.
Introduction & best practice
Dimension settings in Vestis Labs allow you to define and manage the measurement types used throughout your styles, materials, and technical specification workflows. By configuring dimensions—such as length, width, height, thickness, weight, or volume units—you create a clear and standardised framework that ensures consistency when documenting product specifications and comparing item variations.
While dimension settings are optional, using them is highly recommended to support scalability and maintain a well-structured measurement system as your product and material libraries grow.
