Before you start
- Your brand needs an active VestisLabs Showroom subscription. Without it, the platform shows the message "You don't have an active VestisLabs Showroom subscription. Please subscribe to the add-on first."
- You need the showroom management permission to view the Showroom pages and the showroom management update permission to save changes.
Initialise the showroom
Turn on the Showroom switch
In the left sidebar, turn on the switch next to Showroom. The switch is only shown until the showroom has been initialised.
Enter the Display Name
In the Initialize Showroom Settings window, type the name of your showroom in Display Name, for example your brand name. This field is required.
Enter the Brand Identifier
Type the last part of your showroom web address in Brand Identifier. The field shows the prefix
showroom.vestislabs.com/and is required. Use up to 50 letters, numbers, hyphens or underscores.Choose whether the showroom is enabled
Use the Enabled switch to set the showroom status. It is off by default. When it is off, showroom users are restricted from performing certain actions in the virtual showroom.
Click "Create"
Click Create to initialise the showroom. You see "Showroom initialized successfully", and Configs and Users appear under Showroom in the sidebar.
Note
Click Cancel to close the window without creating the showroom. If you changed any field, the platform asks you to confirm before it discards your changes.
Edit the general configuration
Open General Config
In the left sidebar, expand Showroom and click Configs. General Config is the first page in the Showroom Settings menu.
Upload a logo
In the Logo field, upload a JPEG, JPG, PNG or SVG image. The maximum file size is 3 MB.
Change the name and web address
Edit Display Name and Brand Identifier. Both are required.
Warning
Buyers reach your showroom through the Brand Identifier, so changing it changes the web address you share with buyers.
Turn the showroom on or off
Use the Enabled switch. When it is off, showroom users are restricted from performing certain actions in the virtual showroom.
Click "Update"
Click Update to save. You see "Showroom config updated successfully". Click Cancel to put the saved values back in the form.
Important
Without the showroom management update permission, the form is read-only and the Update button is hidden.
Troubleshooting
The Showroom menu has no Configs or Users items. The showroom has not been initialised yet. Turn on the switch next to Showroom and complete the Initialize Showroom Settings window.
The Configs menu item opens an error page. Ask your Brand Admin to give you the showroom management view permission.
