Every report widget you can add to Reports and Insights, with what it shows, its visualisations and the permissions it needs.

This page lists the widgets in the gallery. A widget is offered when you hold at least one of the permissions in its row. The first visualisation named is the one used when you add it.
Widgets named — Details show the same count as their number widget, plus a paged list of the records. They are meant for a standing worklist. Every widget here shows the state of your data as it stands now, so none of them takes a date range. You can narrow them with the filters described in Customise a widget.
