Step 3 of 10 in See the business view: reports, pricing and margin
Customise a widget
Filter a widget by season, collection, category or supplier, switch its visualisation or size, open the records behind a number and remove it.
Under review. This page is published while we check it against the live app, so some details may have changed.
Every widget on Reports and Insights has its own filter and its own options menu. There is no board-wide filter bar, so the same report can sit on your board twice, once for each season. Changes on this page are saved straight away, even when you are not in Customise mode.

Filter a widget
Click the filter icon
Click the funnel icon in the widget header, labelled Filter this widget. A dot appears on the icon whenever the widget is narrowed.
Set a creation window
Use the date range field at the top of the popover to count only records created in that window. It is named after what the widget counts: Styles created, Samples created or Orders created.
Select values
In Season, Collection, Category and Supplier, select one or more values. Values inside one field are combined with or, and the fields are combined with and. Leave a field empty to include everything (All seasons, All collections and so on).
Note
Not every widget offers every filter. For example Styles by Category has no Category field, and Production Running Late has no Season or Collection field. On sample widgets, Category lists product categories instead of style categories.
Check the caption
The line under the widget title now summarises the filter, for example the creation window and the first two selected values followed by a count such as +2. Very small widgets hide this line.
To undo the filter, open the popover again and click Reset to default. The button only appears while the widget is narrowed.
Open the records behind a number
On widgets that support it, click the View details button at the bottom of a number widget, or click a bar, slice or list row on a breakdown, to open a window with the matching records. The window title is the report name followed by the segment you clicked, for example Styles by status · …, and the records are paged. Click a record to open it.
Switch the display
The icons in the widget header change how a widget reads. They appear only where they make sense.
- Show details / Hide details: for Number widgets, sets each figure against its total, for example "8 of 16" with a percentage. It changes nothing where the report has no total to compare with.
- Show wholesale / Show retail: for the pricing widgets, switches between retail and wholesale figures. The widget title changes with it.
- Show as table / Show chart: shows the same data as a table. It is not offered for Number widgets or for detailed lists.
Use the widget menu
Click the options icon in the widget header (named after the widget, for example Average Price options).
- Choose styles…: on the comparison widgets only. See Compare style colours on a board.
- View in Styles, View in Sampling or View in Production: opens that page with your widget's filters applied. It is shown only on widgets that have a matching page.
- Size: choose from Small, Medium, Large, Wide, Extra large, Full width or Full width, tall. Each widget offers only the sizes where it reads well.
- Visualisation: choose how the data is drawn, from Number, Donut, Bar chart, List, Progress bars or Detailed list. It is shown only when the widget offers more than one.
- Remove: removes the widget from this view.
Remove a widget
Click "Remove"
Open the widget menu and click Remove.
Confirm
In the Remove widget dialog, click Remove. The dialog reads Remove "name" from your board? You can add it again from the widget gallery at any time. Click Cancel to keep it.
You should now see the widget gone from the board.
Troubleshooting
The widget shows a lock and “You don't have access to this report.” Your account no longer has the permission this report needs. Ask your Brand Admin.
The widget shows “Couldn't load this widget.” Click Try again.
A filter value shows “Unavailable”. The value was deleted or belongs to another brand. Remove it from the filter.
